As a PhD candidate in Information Science at Cornell University, I worked at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience and Communication. My research focuses on understanding the user experience of emerging remote communication technologies and innovating the design of future platforms.

As an instructor of UX research courses at Cornell University, I had a rewarding experience mentoring students and research assistants on a variety of HCI, CMC and UX projects, using different design methods and research methodologies.

Prior to Cornell, I completed my master’s degree in Social and Public Communication at the London School of Economics and Political Science in UK, and my bachelor’s degree in English and Linguistics at Harbin Institute of Technology in China.
